How do the BumperPlugs attach to my vehicle?
Our original BumperPlugs™ work on just about every make and model. Holes that are drilled into the bumper may have to be enlarged a bit (1/4" is the ideal size), but our plugs will pop right in. Holes must be no larger than 9/32" diameter, and should be at least 3/4" deep. There are small teeth on the stem of the plug that will hold it in place after installation (follow our directions in the package). No adhesive required.
I don't see my color listed, can you make these products in my color? or...I don't know the color name of my vehicle, can you help?
Yes. Custom colors are always available for an extra charge. However, please check the Order page. With so many colors in stock, your color may be listed there. If you are unsure, check the vehicle door or jamb, or other spots for the paint code, and email us your code, year, model, and we will confirm if we have it. If you are unable to find the code, call your vehicle manufacturer's customer service number with your VIN, and ask for the factory paint code, then email us your code. We'll identify the color and let you know if we stock it.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping charges are based on weight, value and size. We use FedEx for most deliveries of value. Smaller, less valuable items may ship by Priority Mail. We do our best to keep prices as reasonable as possible and get the orders to you promptly.
I don't see what I want. What do I do now?
Hit the contact page and email us with your request. A significant amount of our work is custom ordered, and we are happy to accommodate nearly every request.
Do I have to order online, or can I call the order in?
We welcome your call, fax and email anytime. Our automated ordering system makes it easy to order items and checkout through a secure server. Your credit card data remains secure, and you receive electronic confirmation of the order. However, if you prefer, call us anytime.
Hey, I only got one door plug, what's up with that?
Door Plugs are listed as 'each' and are sold individually because most current models have only one key hole, on the driver's side. Check your car before ordering, and adjust the total based on the number of key holes you find.
Do you instruct me how to install these parts?
Just about everything we sell is a relatively simple self-install, and we send along instructions for the project.
I ordered bumperettes and a painted console, do I have to send you mine first?
No. Where noted on the order page, 'core exchange' indicates we will prepare the painted part for your vehicle, send it with instructions, and you send back your old part. That way you are never without the vehicle and you have all parts functioning. A fully refundable core charge is billed to you just prior to shipment. After you install the painted part, just send the old parts back in good, reusable condition for a full refund on the core deposit.
What kind of finish do you put on these painted parts?
We use a proprietary process to layer the finishes on the materials. Each part may have different requirements, but our 19-stage finish takes up to 11 full days to complete. Doing things this way results in absolute perfection. We use only factory chemistry, so that every part is an exact factory-matched finish to the vehicle.
I live outside the United States, can I still order?
We ship worldwide. If there is any discrepancy in your shipping costs versus the order payment, we will notify you prior to shipping. For core exchange, international customers are liable for any duty on incoming or outgoing shipments. Please select international shipping at checkout. We will advise if there is any additional information needed at time of order.
When will my order ship?
We are perfectionists. We created a unique process for painting these materials, and we spent hundreds of man-hours perfecting it. The process cannot be rushed. We do our best to stock most items on the order page, but custom painted parts are placed into production upon order, and turned around as fast as possible. Bumper Plugs™ and Door Plugs™ are always in stock; iPod/Bluetooth Kits, Rejex, Clear Lighting, Shifter Kits and other non-custom items are nearly always in stock. Stock items ship within one or two business days of payment/order, so watch for your order confirmation with shipping details, and a shipment notification when your order ships.
I bought the wrong product, can I return it?
Absolutely! Click the Returns button at the bottom of the site (Customer Service) and fill in the form, or email us with the details of the problem. We will instruct you on returning the item for exchange or refund. Shipping costs are non refundable, nor are custom painted/ordered parts (consoles, lights, bumperettes, etc).
